Why “Memoirs of a Traveler”?

Firstly, my life’s been constant traveling. Growing up, I attended 10 different schools across 3 continents, including 4 high schools.

Secondly, I believe life is just a part of a much larger journey. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Be in this world like a stranger or a traveler“.

Who am I?

Hmm… should I say who I am? Some say it’s bad, while others demand it. Can’t please everyone, I guess, so here goes. By the way, most important things? Children & Faith. The rest below are just material stuff…

I’m a father of 3 beautiful children. I’m also the world’s best dad. :)

I’d consider myself a competitive athlete- I played 5 of them in grade 12. Currently, my focus is on track & field. Still, my favorite is soccer. Basketball has a strong meaning to me as well.

I’m a student for life. I finished my undergraduate in engineering, but a few more seem to be on the way. I’d like to study more of the arts, preferably history or economics, combined with the science behind marketing. Eventually, my goal is to attend an international business school, preferably on another continent, and combine it with law somewhere in Canada. (If we’re traveling on earth, why not enjoy it, right?)

I’m a businessman of sorts- our company has been running for one year, and we hope to grow it over the next few.

I’m a Muslim. I was touched by the spirituality bug in first year… touched may be an understatement, it means the world to me.
